The year was 1995.

I was minding my business, that of a fledging investor relations professional, when it finally happened. The Internet and, more specifically, capital formation for upstart dotcoms, had started to take off.

Finding myself in the center of the surge, that being Southern California, I began getting calls from strange people looking for money to finance their weird website ideas.

For this job, I needed special tools for managing email-based marketing campaigns. So I taught myself how to hard-code "ColdFusion", and built all these web-based tools myself.

13 years and dozens of websites later, I now consider myself a very gifted web developer with an insatiable passion for all things digital. Unlike most of my piers, I’m quite skilled on both sides of the brain. In fact, I prefer those projects where I have free reign on the creative and technical sides.

My work really speaks for itself. Every design is distinctive. Every application is unique. And yet, all my web creations share these attributes: They are all database-driven, dynamically-loading, and browser-controlled. I look for projects that lend themselves to all three.

My experience includes commercial ventures requiring highly sophisticated functionality. It also includes a growing number of non-profits, who just need an easier way to manage content and communicate their message with the public. I especially enjoy my charitable work, which is thankfully afforded by the success of my licensing business.
